The Miracle Center is more than just a building it  exists to serve as a comprehensive, welcoming hub that meets the spiritual, physical, educational, and recreational needs of the Jacksonville community. Located in a 32,000-square-foot facility, we offer integrated programs that include food assistance, housing support, employment services, healthcare access, literacy development, and youth mentorship. Our History

The Miracle Center was established in 2003 by Founder Ken Durkee with a vision to transform lives and uplift the Springfield and downtown Jacksonville communities. What began as a small outreach effort has grown into a 32,000 sq. ft. hub of hope and healing, serving thousands each year with essential services including food assistance, youth mentorship, educational programs, and housing support.

 
Rooted in compassion and powered by community, The Miracle Center has become a beacon for those in need, offering not just resources but a renewed sense of purpose, dignity, and direction.
